After a modest beginning as a small town forest, Ottawa was designated the capital of Canada by Queen Victoria in 1857. Now is a vibrant urban center, which enter the River Ottawa, Rideau Canal and Rideau River, overlooking the hills of Gatineau Quebec. Impressive buildings of the Parliament creates an air of European elegance, with spirals and neo-Gothic towers that high to the sky, on the shores of steep above the River Ottawa.
Today, the capital of the nation is an ideal place to work and live, with green spaces, outdoor activities and a casual lifestyle.
Ottawa is the capital and a cultural and intellectual Center for the Visual Arts, with numerous museums, galleries, two universities and one college.
